Commemorating 150th Anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's Death

On March 10, 2011 all Ukrainian community marked 150th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's death.

The exhibition "Commemorating 150th Anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's Death" was opened in the Museum on March 2, 2011. The exhibition will continue until June 1, 2011. Exhibits related to Taras Shevchenko's last years, funeral, re-burial, as well as his death mask are on display. The museum is open Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm; weekends and holidays by appointment. Although admission is free, donations are greatly appreciated.
