From September 21 to November 23, 2008, at the Taras Shevchenko Museum in Toronto, art lovers were offered the rare opportunity to view a retrospective of avant grade works by an artist much ahead of his time.
On the twenty-first anniversary of Jerry's untimely death, his wife Marie and his son Ellay presented "Inspiration of a Free Spirit" - an exhibition of art by Jerry Prociw. Press Release.

The exhibit was held at the Taras Shevchenko Museum, 1614 Bloor Street West (between Dundas West and Keele Subway stations) began with wine-and-cheese reception at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2008.
The exhibition was open for the public Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekends and holidays by appointment only. Admission was free, although donations in support of the work of the museum were gratefully appreciated. Photo Gallery"Inspiration of a Free Spirit"- article by Bill Hrynchak.
