On Friday, August 16, 2024, the Shevchenko Museum & Vytik Art Collective will present FREEDOMNESS, an exhibition of Ukrainian art.
When the revolutionary Ukrainian feminist writer Olha Kobylianska said, “To have such freedom as to be your own goal/achievement”, she summoned others to achieve this type of freedom in their lives and to have the courage to dream of a liberated future. Let’s call it “freedomness” because it is in alignment with individual artistic development that brings forth happiness.
The exhibition will run until September 16, 2024. Gallery Hours: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 10 AM - 4 PM, Thurs: 12 - 7 PM, Weekends by Appointment.
